Tom Cartmill has had his drawing Hinterland selected for the Newlight Art Prize Exhibition 2020-2021
It is the 10th Anniversary of this Biennial, celebrating artists born and/or working in the North of England.
The exhibition opens at the Scarborough Art Gallery in September and will then tours from January across the UK, finishing at the Bankside Gallery, London throughout November 2021.

Hinterland - ink on paper by Tom Cartmill
An exhibition of drawings by Tom Cartmill, looking at the possibilities of paper, wood and aluminium with a monochrome colour palette of hand-made paints and inks. Much of the work in this show has been made during Lockdown, pieced together from older, repurposed drawings.
